Studio Manual for Piano
All students are required to purchase a studio manual. The manual is an integrated approach compiled by Steven L. Bardin. The method is based upon the traditions, techniques, and philosophies of the European masters. Included in the manual is a completely integrated approach that includes music theory, keyboard technique, reading, aural skills, and music history.
Other Curriculum
Along with the studio manual other music composed by the masters are to be assigned from Bach, Czerny, Mozart, Schumann, Beethoven, and many of the greatest composers and pianists. To learn more about these composers keep an eye on my blog as I will be updating that frequently and keeping my students and parents informed of the music we learn.
Personal Approach
As a teacher, I am always trying to perfect my craft by learning ways to teach and approach each student. I believe every individual is uniquely created and has a different "learning style." My goal is to help each student reach their maximum potential. I always want to be an encouragement in their learning process as I promise to teach from a heart of love for the student and the music.
